Rewarding at UESHIMA
We mainly manufacture testing machines for car tires. When I think that my work is also contributing to the evolution of tires, which are the most important parts for driving a car, in a sense, I feel that is rewarding.
Why I chose UESHIMA
In my previous job, I worked in a factory that processes glass. I joined the company thinking that my experience in customer negotiations at that time could be used to procure materials. At this stage, acceptance inspection work is the main one, but since my previous job measured and inspected customer glass, etc., it was easy to adapt. Also, since children are small, it was attractive that Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are holidays, and that childcare leave can be taken in addition to paid childcare leave.
Workplace atmosphere
The working atmosphere is very peaceful.
If there's anything you don't understand, there's an atmosphere where you can listen right away, and everyone responds kindly, so I think there's an atmosphere that even inexperienced people can get used to.
Future goals
It's about increasing productivity.
As an individual, I would like to increase the speed of the series of tasks by thoroughly ensuring that there are no defects overlooked during acceptance inspections, and that there are no omissions in additional processing or delays in delivery. In turn, I would like to make efforts so that this can lead to a reduction in overall delivery times.
About business positions
Acceptance work is often done by one person, but for example, if something you don't understand the drawing comes up during an inspection, it is necessary to ask another department about it. Also, we actually visit business partners to ask for processing, and sometimes ask for reprocessing, so I think it's quite important to be able to communicate smoothly with people.
