Rewarding at UESHIMA
When the test machine I built is completed, and when I see it in operation at the site, I feel that I am contributing to the world.
When I went to car accessories stores and saw tires from manufacturers with deals lined up, I felt once again that testing machines are useful to the world.
Why I chose UESHIMA
In my previous job, I was doing manufacturing work at a company that manufactures communication equipment for infrastructure companies. I was interested in moving mechanical devices such as testing machines, and I was fascinated by unfamiliar genres such as material testing machines, and decided to change jobs because I was impressed by the fact that there were many holidays and places where I could take a good rest.
Workplace atmosphere
Before I joined the company, I had an image that there were quite a few sharp people, but as soon as I asked questions about things I didn't understand or were unsure about, they answered them kindly, and when I joined the company, everyone was kind! It's an environment where it's easy to take paid holidays, so I think everyone has plenty of time for work and themselves.
Future goals
I'm still in charge of only a few testing machines, so I'd like to be in charge of more testing machines. Also, I would like to build an environment where I can make even better products than today, and become a person that everyone can rely on.
Regarding manufacturing jobs
Since I was a kid, I've loved the work of “making things,” such as plastic models and mini 4WDs, so I think that kind of person is perfect.
In addition to simply assembling and wiring... we also discuss what we notice about testing equipment problems and improvements each time, so cooperation with other departments is essential, and communication is very important.
