The Akron abrasion tester is one of the wear testing machines that have been widely used until now, and an angle is applied to a disc-shaped test specimen rotated at a constant speed, and the amount of wear is measured by pressing a grinding wheel against it with a constant load.

  • Reference standard: JIS K 6264-2/ISO23794
  • Test speed: 75±5rpm or 250±5rpm (test piece)
  • Slip angle: 0 to 45°
