A cable abrasion tester is an abrasion tester for electric wire coating, and it is a testing machine that fixes the test specimen so that it is in contact with the wear tape, applies a load, and moves the wear tape at a speed of 1500 mm/min.

Measure the length of the wear tape used until the coating of the electric wire wears out and the conductor comes into contact with the wear tape.

  • Reference standard: JIS C 3406
  • Specimen length: approx. 900mm
