A small heating deformation tester measures the amount of deformation after a fixed period of time by sandwiching various electric wires, wire coatings, rubber, plastic, etc. between two parallel plates, applying a load to the upper parallel plate at a high temperature.

The weight can be set in 0.5N increments between mass 3N and 30N, and the amount of deformation can be read in 1/1000 mm increments.

There are 3 types of test specimens that can be performed in one test: 1, 3, and 5.

  • Reference standards: JIS C3005, JIS K6723
  • Test temperature: room temperature to 180℃
  • Test stroke: 20mm
